Pera refuses to let Lado evaluate Hurri, guarding her with a jealous fury that keeps everyone at bay - not that anyone is particularly eager to bring her before their mad leader, and Lado himself is mostly ignorant of everything that happens in reality that isn't directly before his nose. Hurri demonstrates no obvious abilities that would mark her as Signed, but without Lado's verification it's impossible to know if she has latent powers granted by the Wheel or not.

A slight and delicate skydancer, Hurri is reserved and melancholy, keeping to herself and the company of her mate, Pera. She's never quite recovered from the trauma that led to her finding a home in Chronos, a story that's she's only ever told bits and pieces of to anyone aside from her mate.

The most anyone knows is this: something terrible happened in the clan of her birth, forcing her and her sister to flee together. While in flight across Sornieth, a horrible storm struck, forcing the pair to the ground, in the middle of the Scarred Wasteland. Hurri survived. Her sister did not.

She will not speak of what, exactly, happened to her sister, but speaks of the storm with some reverence - she claims that it, in the end, is what protected her, what saved her life. But in the same breath, she speaks of the event as a death, and a rebirth - and herself as a ghost, in some way, carrying the spirit of the life lost along with her.
