Adihe's mate chosen not for genuine love, but for the absolute power the pair posses as a team. Idan is a faithful companion with the willingness to make sacrifices and give commands at the bequest of his mate, as well as provide unbiased council in times of need. He acts as judge in most major disputes and provides a lawful basis for the clan's affairs. Most of the doctrine the clan operates by was written by his hand and the hand of his scribe, Desiree.

Idan is stoic and avoids showing emotion or sharing too much of himself. He does what is best for the A.C.C and those who operate in its good graces because the clan as a whole is his charge, and thus he is willing to make sacrifices for it.
