Those who encounter her regularly know that that's how she entertains herself, and see no harm in it. Some even flirt back. However, she is much more picky when it comes to choosing an actual partner.

She cares not for gender and only really goes by female pronouns for simplicity's sake as she has some trouble answering to other pronouns. This is mainly because she forgets when she tells someone to use different pronouns. While she is forgetful about information regarding herself, her mind is like a steel trap when it comes to information about her friends.

Mikan is loyal to a fault, but is unlikely to join in a fight unless one of her friends is in genuine danger.
