Candyfloss is calm, honest, and reliable. Above all that, she’s a fast flyer, which makes her perfect candidate to be the clan’s messenger. The other dragons never worry about her opening their scrolls or packages (unlike when Ruby took the job upon her), and trust blindly on Candy’s sense of direction. Their trust is well-placed, because it rarely happens that Candy gets lost on her way to the receiver. Perhaps when she’s been staring at Misty for a bit too long. But that's a well-known secret, so shh.
