This drake is a force to be reckoned with when there's a task is to be finished, but his extreme focus can cause him to lose sight of other important matters. Due to a family curse, he is unable to leave the Viridian Labyrinth safely.

"Wisps will lead you astray."
Blue and grey, crunchy things, mud between his toes, and long cold thunderstorms.
Waiting for decisions, hot and steamy days and dirt in his eyes/teeth, gritty things.

For eight months Kelwyn lived on the outskirts of Arboreus, warning passersby of wisps and the dangers of following their pale light. More often than not he'd be rescuing the same dragons a few hours later. His job was simple, but he liked the solitude. His mate, Aludra, understood this and decided to live in her own den with the rest of the clan and make day visits.

One night he was at his post, waiting for travelers to pass by, when he saw his son Kresh standing before him. He admonished himself for falling so easily to the wisps' tricks and tried to ignore the apparition so it would disperse. The vision only grew in strength and its warm glow enveloped him. Suddenly he knew he needed to see his son.

Kelwyn never thought he'd abandon his post, but he immediately flew to Aludra's den. "Kresh needs me; I'm leaving."

"You can't! He's in the Sunbeam Ruins!" Aludra moved to block the entrance and keep Kresh from leaving.

"Step aside; there's no time for debate."

"If I'm going to let you leave the labyrinth, and possibly die from the curse because of it, I'm going to know the reason." Aludra didn't budge.

"I saw a vision from the Lightweaver," Kelwyn didn't know where the words he spoke came from, but they felt true, "it was Kelwyn and I felt a sense of urgency from him."

"Then I guess it can't be ignored." Aludra sighed and moved away from the entrance. "But I'm coming with you."

Kelwyn's mouth twitched into a smile. "I wouldn't have it any other way."

Kelwyn flew past the boundaries of the Labryinth and felt like he hit a wall.

"Kelwyn!" Aludra screeched, trying to maneuver him back into the safety of the labyrinth.

As Kelwyn faltered, gasping for air, a faint glow encompassed him. He could breathe again, but it took all his strength just to keep airborne. "I'm fine. Let's press on."

Aludra stayed near, but silent.

The flight was excruciatingly slow and there was nothing on the horizon for hours until finally the ruins came into view. One building was illuminated with the same vision of Kresh from the woods. They landed beside it.

"I told you they would come." A female imperial spoke from behind the vision of Kresh.

"And so they have," acknowledged the female guardian beside her. "You may go.

The imperial gestured at the vision and it dissipated.

"What is the meaning of this trickery!?" Aludra yelled.

"Forgive me for summoning you here, but Inara saw in a vision from the Lightweaver that you are the only one who can help." The guardian looked at Kelwyn as she spoke. "We believe Kresh has been enthralled by the wisps. Will you be able to help us?"

Kelwyn nodded weakly, the weight of his own head felt too heavy for his neck to support.

"Quick, bring him inside." The guardian moved to support his left flank while Aludra moved to his right. Slowly they moved into a bit of the ruins that housed a long tunnel leading further down than Kelwyn thought was practical.

The tunnel widened out into an expansive underground cavern lit in a pale golden glow. The guardian lead them to what appeared to be a green tent. The closer they got, the stronger Kelwyn felt. Soon seemed as though he was able to walk without aid.

The guardian moved away immediately, but Aludra hesitated before withdrawing her support.

Numerous dragons peered out from buildings in the central part of the cavern, no doubt the clan of the area. They got to the tent and Kelwyn followed the guardian inside. The tent was covering up the entrance to an offshoot cavern.

Kelwyn blinked, not believing his eyes. Beside him, Aludra gasped. He looked to the rocky ceiling to make sure he was still in the cave, because it looked and felt like he was back in the Viridian Labyrinth.

A small tree grew next to the back wall and everything was covered in leafy green.

"Our druid hails from the Viridian Labryinth and helped make preparations for your stay, but I fear we've actually made you a prison."

Kelwyn didn't need her to say more. He himself knew he wouldn't be able to survive the journey back. "Tell me what happened to my son."

The guardian nodded. "We started seeing signs two weeks ago when a wisp was spotted in the Mirrorlight Promenade..."

Held in place by his Father's strong sense of finishing what you start this Drake is a force to be reckoned with when a task is to be finished. Organization is a strong suit of his, and can sometimes be taken overboard when he plans more than he does. Solid and strong he can get tunnle vision and stuck in a stubborn rut.

Likes blue and grey, crunchy things, Mud between his toes and long cold thunderstorms.

Dislikes waiting for decisions, hot and steamy days and dirt in his eyes/teeth/gritty things

Note from itsThirteen: Lemme know who you would like to take past the faerie arch of Tir na nÓg. ' Ware though! If these dragons step foot out of the Veridian Labyrinth they will die! So If you cannot keep them please give them back, keep them in Nature, or Exalt them
