 "Are you the Evil Demon Lord Ciril?" is not a question you answer 'yes' to. Especially if you actually are the Evil Demon Lord Ciril. Especially especially if you like body parts in the places they're normally suppose to be.

Cyril....Cyril made a mistake. A mistake that could be argued was not his fault. In retrospect, it was the speaker's fault. They said the question so quietly that Cyril only half heard what he was being asked. The speaker also happened to be jaw droppingly gorgeous in that distracting way you later come to regret being distracted by.

So it wasn't his fault when the only thing he heard was "Are you something something something Cyril?" Well, yeah he was the Great Noble Lord Cyril, hero of three kingdoms (soon to be four if this next plan went all right). So he said so.

And so the entire village arrived at the inn he was staying at. And so Cyril entered the village as Cyril, Great Noble Lord and Savior of Three Kingdoms and left Ciril, Evil Demon Lord and Destroyer of over half of the Alliance and Greater Frontier. He also left without his armor, shoes, Dignity (noun. Upper case. His horse.), and dignity (noun. Lower-case. His self-respect).

Now Cyril is bent on locating the real Demon Lord Ciril, finishing them off, restoring his good name, and becoming a beloved figure throughout the Alliance. Easy as pie. I mean, he may not know what the Demon Lord Ciril looks like, but he sure as hell can follow the trail of destruction they've left behind right to the source, right? How hard can that be?
