Thuja
Penitent | Hunter | Inquisitor Thuja the Penitent is a traitor. Once, she was a traitor among many to the Pale Scar clan, part of a cabal known as the Ardent Sepulchre. Now, she is a traitor among none to her father and brood-mates, having given them up in exchange for clemency. Wendir and his other children have all been exalted by force by the Tridents, a fanatical offshoot of the Seeping Knights. Few in the clan trust her anymore, and the secretive nature of her childhood has made it difficult for her to make friends anyway. She finds comfort in the hunt, reveling in the adrenaline surge of every chase, every battle. Thuja is at least respected for what she brings to the table. Panoptes is the only dragon who willingly associates with her, another creature steeped in eternal loneliness, and Wesker likes to follow along on her hunts just to feel a fraction of his former power. The lonely moments far outweigh the joyous ones, however. In the vacuum left by the strange family dynamics of the Ardent Sepulchre, Thuja has learned to look to herself and herself alone for comfort. How long until even that well of inner strength runs dry, though?
