Luminax
The name had been all over the journals...
The events of his life predated even his own hatching, filled in journals marked with obsession and fascination. The life of his father and mother. Luminax had fascinated the researcher
It was a name that haunted him, the Emperor had started a fascination that had turned to obsession. This obsession drove him to the Scarred Wastelands with a younger Imperial female. She was in love with him, however his love for her was debatable. His father was consumed with researching the effects of the contagion and if it had anything thing to do with the formation of Emperors.
According to his journals, his father had seen Luminax once and from that time the Emperor whispered into his mind. Driving him to find a way to undo or perfect the process to becoming an emperor. Slowly these whispers drove his father deeper in to madness and obsession. There was little of his mother in the journals, just that it was a blessing of Luminax that she was able to have a clutch so close to the contagion. While she hunted, her mate whispered to the clutch about how they were blessed. Even conducted some of his experiments on the nest.
As his obsession grew, his father ceased to exist instead becoming an Emperor. Made up of his own mate and others he found. Known as;
Anteris...
Anteris had absorbed the hatchlings, all but one that met Anteris' foul gaze. The emperor leaned down and rasped out a name for the hatchling. Luxaris, a name fit for an Emperor's child, and scion. Yet it was the promise of the name that drove the single hatchling away from his parents. The journals becoming all he knew of his parent
