BLIGHT
“The toxin generates the anti-toxin. The end lies concealed in the beginning. All bodies grow around a skeleton. Life is a petticoat about death.”




In order to bring about life, there must be death; misery accompanies sadness as its twin; and, as Blight knows well, every medicine has a poison as its pair. Poison, indeed, is Blight's specialty, as the Clan's potions master, and she brews them with passionless excellence. Indeed, her aptitude is undeniable and her willingness firm, but she has no desire to harm; her late father, a dabbler in witchcraft, insisted that powerful healing can only occur when the magic-worker has knowledge of harm in the same vein. Through her practice, she's found his words to be true: venom is necessary for anti-venom, sickness for immunity, and dirty hands for good work. She stays relatively quiet and has a tendency to come off as harsh or compassionless, which she sometimes can be. All the same, she appreciates her Clanmates and wishes she could better earn their trust and affection. Keeps a Gloomwillow Guide for company, although even it seems a little wary of her...
