Caleb Goodnight Also known as: Needles | Spider Patrol Official The Province of Antelope Peak The first thing one notices about him is his oversized hood and blindfold; not an aesthetic choice of his own choice – he was born without eyes. It is not his only distinction, as his horns lack the atypical scoop design for a pair of coiled spires that have merged together with time. His skin is hard than other Mirrors, his joints are soft; his lower jaw splits. The most normal thing about him is a lisp. Found as an abandoned hatchling Caleb takes advantage of his confusing origin, creating tales from time to time to explain away his peculiar nature – but deep down he wants to discover the truth where he came from. Sometimes, he doesn’t want to discover where he’s come from; as the caverns he came from still spew miasma. |

Caleb had made a place for himself among the bunkers beneath Antelope Peak, in one of the many middle sized rooms. He has personalized the room with dark colors and bright stones, cornered with hanging lamps and short tables. In the far corner he has settled himself a nest; a wooden frame, laid with thick cat-tail cotton, fixed with a layer of mended blankets, and edged with pillows. Due to him working in the Patrol most of the time he spends his time away from his hide-away. As with others his limit is as far as he can fly or the limit of his patrol routes. Caleb has taken it upon himself to patrol the winding caverns beneath Antelope Peak, where he is always on the search for his origin’s secret. Deep within those caverns is where he finds some of the things he stores in his small room. Small trinkets here, a chunk of rock he takes a fancy too, and a mysterious book he found waterlogged with sea water. |
