Iko loves science- from experiments to new technology and inventions. Since Alphys shares the same interests, the two of them tend to experiment together, and try to invent all sorts of crazy things. They're the scientists of the clan. Iko loves futuristic sorts of things the most, so she's always attempting to "build the future." Most of her inventions end up failing, but she's never saddened or put down by her failures. She simply becomes more determined to make it work. She's the kind of dragon who'll never give up. She has a vast imagination, and daydreams a lot. Her inventions are from those daydreams, in fact. Iko tries hard to make her dreams a reality. Alphys says that a lot of her ideas are impossible, because they don't have the technology for the sorts of things that she comes up with- but, that doesn't stop this ambitious, imaginative pearlcatcher from trying. However, even though her ideas are ridiculous (such as fire-breathing warriors made out of pure diamonds) she's freakishly smart. There are dozens of rumors about her that she's actually a robot, and not a living, breathing dragon at all. She seems to know everything, and can solve problems and calculate, evaluate, and make decisions in a second flat. With a brain like hers, Alphys sometimes wonders if her childish ideas could actually be possible...
