 Kematu is one of the clan’s strongest warriors. He sees his battle party, Andruil and Enthir, as a part of his family, and even though he trusts in their battle abilities completely, he is still fiercely protective of them.

Together with Andruil he serves as one of the dragons in charge of training warriors who decide to serve the Gladekeeper. He sees giving yourself to the Gladekeeper as the greatest purpose a dragon can possibly achieve in life, and an act worthy of joy, celebration and honor. That didn’t stop his heart from aching, however, the day his oldest son, Avik, told him that he was ready to go through the training and join the Gladekeeper’s ranks.
