Ezra
|
Taking after his now long-gone father, Ezra is great at drawing in crowds. Though not as deceitful as his father, he still has his own little white lies. There is a lot of confusion about his heritage, considering his father's habit of stealing eggs, but with his coloration and his attitude nearly everyone who sees the two together can say they're blood related. Ezra has a questionable set of morals that steer him in a strange direction compared to a lot of his fellows. He enjoys leading people astray and giving them the tiny white lies they live to hear. Of course, he isn't all bad - where would the fun in that be? Sadly, Ezra inherited his father's habit of stealing eggs on top of his silver tongue and coloration, but in his new clan, it doesn't end too badly. He pilfered Pilfern as a hatchling with the help of his mate and has raised her to be a dashing, roguish adventurer, and actually, he has turned out a good father. There is nothing Ezra can't do when it comes to using his words and his influence. He can crow to a crowd and have them hang on his every word, even as Pilfern fishes things from their pockets and purses. Gharial may snap at him, and Chonnival may take exception to his backhanded compliments, but he's too tricky to ever get caught in a lie. Ezra is incredibly charismatic and influential. He avoids fights, preferring wordplay to talk much larger opponents down, but he doesn't have much in the way of skill in battle. (He generally prefers to flee.) In his words he makes a good ambassador, or at the very least, a good spokesdragon, but he lacks the temperament to deal with such silly things as jobs or hard work. Ezra is better at taking his time. With his quick wit and silver tongue, attracting Fiver's attention wasn't hard for him either, but keeping it tends to take some concentration. |
