  ABOUT.
Possessed of the furthest sensing range in all the Shadeguard, Cimber is often the first to arrive when wraiths threaten a clan. He eliminates the most aggressive remnants before they can find a foothold and lances corruption without destroying its victims whenever possible.

When he woke to the suss of waves on stone and the murmur of the Shade in the rock, he did not at first appreciate how close he was to the Beacon. Wraiths so close to the heart of the flight was an ill omen for the rest of the territory. In the beginning he could not remember why this was important, only know it as an instinct as powerful as that which drove him to seek out and feed on the Shade.

The rest of his memory and consciousness returned slowly after this first waking. Each morning a new detail returned to his mind. It was like living two lives.

The first, daylight self, drove him farther and farther away from the high tower he was sure he had once guarded. The second, night self, knew he had once been the last standing in defense of the monument and mourned the impending separation.
