Biography
Clan Guard. Son of Achilles and DuskWing (birthed by Flight).
Quick was born to follow in his fathers footsteps. Achilles was the first guard of the clan, the first male pearlcatcher to become beloved and kept, instead of being sent away. And Quick was the only son of Achilles to receive that same honor. So, Quick became a guard, stationed to protect the old rulers, Mage and Gini, a high honor and a big job.
However, Quick had grown bored of this life... Always striving to become more and more like his father, he never took the time to discover himself. By the time he began to realize this, he also realized that even though he was discontent, he couldn't abandon his clan. The family he was apart of, descended from Noodle, were all very important and powerful dragons, and only members of their blood could truly protect the clan the way it needed to be protected. Noodle hadn't kept any children of her own in a long time. Her daughters were uninterested in becoming guards or having children, and Achilles was settled in a very loving and exclusive relationship with his husband. There were no guards available to take Quick's place.
One day, a blessing came, and Achilles was chosen for a diplomatic mission for... breeding purposes, and returned home with a child. A pearlcatcher, a daughter, with bright eyes and a promising future. Quick finally realized that this was his chance. To travel, to see the world, and never feel guilty about abandoning his post.
His little sister, Solfrasia, has grown into her new role very willingly and excitedly. Between the training from her father and her brother, she's a very skilled guard, and fully able and willing to take Quick's place when he leaves.
