BENTLEY THE BARD
 Poet | Creative Cartographer | Writer | Bagpiper  As the clan human's poetry mentor says, "being a poet is a both a gift and a curse." Bentley knows this to be true. The poet's way of moving through the world is both hazardous and beautiful. It's not gold and glitter that this dragon collects and hoards, but stories (Though he has acquired more physical wealth this way than he had imagined). His own story, the story of others, and the words that best articulate a dragon's experience. He's also very fascinated by the human experience, observing Clan Human Jess, whom is also a poet. And pays attention to their mentor, Lao poet Bryan Thao Worra. The goggles that Bentley wears are very similar to ones that Bryan can be seen wearing all the time at sci-fi writing conventions and along his travels all over the U.S. and other countries. Bentley enjoys the spirit of writing with quill pens, but doesn't need anything fancy for a notebook. He understand that he'll go through them fast enough that they don't need to look like anything special. And that he's bound to spill coffee on them eventually. EMILY THE FAMILIAR Named after Emily Dickinson, this bookworm loves bird-watching. She knows that if a bird ever thought of scooping her up for a snack that Bently wouldn't allow it so she's amused by their misery. The birds will NEVER get a hold of this bookworm! When Emily isn't reading and oozing all over Bentley's beloved books, she is eating them. Since good 'ol Bent isn't very good at keeping track of all of his scribblings, he doesn't even notice. Like his clan's human, Jess, Bentley has ADHD and can't keep track of things very well. Fortunately, the best words stay in the mind forever and he eventually completes the stories that have strayed to Emily's mouth.
