Explorer's League 
The northern tip of the Ashfall Wastes borders on two much soggier realms: the Sea of the Thousand Currents and the Windswept Plateau. In this region many unique ecosystems have formed due to the combination of volcanic soil, brackish water, cool scouring winds, sediment-collecting vales, and seasonal floods.
Peat bogs on the west border meet with cypress swamps, marshes, and wetlands where mixing waters sweep over the lowlands. The dragons who make their home there have named it Mossfold; it is a mercurial, treacherous, and beautiful place, often overlooked by the denizens of the three regions it touches.
There are plenty of valuable resources in the Mossfold, but to collect them, dragons must be willing to get their feet wet and brave the swamplands of the north. The Hepatizon clan is home to a crew of such dragons, all swamp-dwellers at heart. They are collectively known as the Fen Witches... though out of hearing, they are affectionately referred to as the "Marshfellows".

Wildlife enthusiast, entomologist, and conservationist. Speaks Common Sornieth with a lilting Coatl accent which many find charming. His enthusiasm boils over easily at the slightest mention of his specialties, which can lead to long, excited, one-sided ramblings about the implications of annual moth migrations.
He is being courted somewhat awkwardly by his fellow Fen Witch, Logwood. They are both painfully inept and adorable and the whole of the Hepatizon Clan wishes they would just kiss already.
