The term “less than favorable” was used to describe his sister and himself. They were not born, but rather formed under microscope and grown within the Kustos Glakios' Cryogenic Incubators for the Sollistima Gene Project. They were never told what they were intended for or what it was they lacked. but regardless they were told that while they were not perfect, they were better than most. A sentiment that colors their personalities.

Platinum is very imaginative and much more lively than his sister. He has developed a strong interest in alchemy and potionmaking. Eventually his intelligence will make him very proficient in the field. His temperament is a tad bit meek because of his social anxieties. He also hallucinates and become paranoid because of it. Despite this, he can make for a good friend in the best of company. In a supportive environment, he can reach heights the Head Kustos Engineer would have never imagined.
