Chesspiece is a handful but her voice is that of a fallen angel that knew nothing more than how to make anyone feel anything they wanted. She travels around for a handsome sum to different clans and sings for them, sometimes so well that they try to wage war on her home clan to keep her. This has led to Chesspiece moving from clan to clan relatively quickly until Circe found her.
Circe listened to Chesspiece practice while exploring the Windswept Plateau, she complemented Chesspiece and asked her about her life. When Circe discovered that the poor dragon was forced to move from clan to clan she asked if such a talent was worth it. Chesspiece admitted that she didn't like most of the new clans, they were very brutish and forced her to sing often but that she loved her voice. Circe offered protection from her current clan and a place in her own. In return all Chesspiece had to do was make herself happy, she wouldn't be forced to sing and could do anything she liked.
Chesspiece came to the lair on a friday, walking in at the exact time that the wannabe Dweebs were being scored. It was then that she thought she'd like this clan.
