 		Chukchi first arrived at Clan Palatine from Clan Vengrahdiin during a very busy time - at the end of a push to provide the Lightweaver with more acolytes. In order to keep him safe, Encarmine asked his parents to hide him away for the duration of the event so that he would not become lost in the chaos.

When Chukchi next saw Clan Palatine, the number of dragons had been much reduced - and not just because the acolytes were gone. Many of Clan Palatine's own dragons had chosen to enter their deity's service, and Encarmine was left both reorganizing the rest of the clan to compensate and basking in the results of the Lightweaver's victory. Despite his pale colors and the horror of the clan's few remaining coatls, Chukchi quickly made himself at home with the clan's Lightbrarians, serving as a scholar and accountant for the clan.

Unfortunately, that happy state of affairs was not to last.
