"All problems are solved by good design."

Monarch was hatched to a peaceful Earth clan where she was taught the arts of that flight. Strong from a young age, she excelled in construction and excavation and delighted in the craft, although she lacked the patience and dexterity needed to master sculpting and carving. Despite her skill and her admiration for the clan leader, her teacher, Monarch found herself growing restless and bored with the life of a peaceful architect. Torn between loyalty and wanderlust, the decision was made easier when her parents left to become disciples of the Earthshaker. She left her home and wandered the lands of Sornieth, flying through the Tangled Wood, studying the architecture of the Sunbeam Ruins, then wandering through the Viridian Labyrinth until she found a druid named Iset, who became her mate and companion. When the pair traveled to the Scarred Wasteland, Monarch simply came to protect her love. What transpired in the boneyard, though, their meeting and fight with a fae priestess, eventually lead to Monarch becoming one of three founders of a new clan. Her knowledge of architecture was invaluable in the construction of her new home, hewn into the fleshy rock around the Wyrmwound, expertly engineered to create a calm, pleasant living space even in the heart of contagion.
Monarch applies a level of passion and creativity to all of her endeavors, be it building, leading, or loving. She is fiercely devoted to her mate and will protect her above all else. She is a dragon with both grand designs and a solid foundation, although she sometimes leans too far in the direction of the former and needs some time to calm down and re-gain a dose of reality.
