Perignon was born between a breeding of Alia and Ether - a breeding mainly for the keeper's profit and not out of love. For this reason, Perignon was ignored quite a bit by both his parents once they had secured his home in the clan. It wasn't really any fault of the Nocturne's own, his mother was just too much of a loner and his father was too nomadic. Another Noc female came into the clan around the time he was still being nurtured, and they developed a close bond that blossomed into a mating bond as they matured. Despite his parents' fighting background, Perignon chose the route of healer.

The young Nocturne is bawdy, very boisterous and loud. It borders on annoying, as many dragon would vouch for. If he were human, he'd be that one person who goes out partying every single night and gets louder and louder with every drink. He also can be quite productive and tactful when the situation calls for it, and none of the other healers can rival his resourcefulness when it comes to thinking on the spot.
