Biography
Have you ever seen a contortionist spiral squeeze into a locked box? Its a bit of a reverse escapist act and it baffles everyone who watches it. Pierrium is the king of such feats, with many a reverse-escapism act under his belt. Though he always has someone locking the box and testing it thoroughly before he enters it, no one has been able to figure out how he does it. Of course, getting out of the box is a different question entirely and patrons to the Entfuhren Traveling Show aren't as blown away by watching his assistant unlock the box. Pierrium appeared one day and stayed with the troupe, offering his unusually slinky spiral abilities to wow crowds and pull in funds for Absennol's wild and wacky ideas - well, not that Absennol has wild or wacky ideas it just takes a lot of funds to feed a traveling troupe and keep up repairs. Pierrium takes his tasks seriously and has no intention of slowing down for the good of the troupe. When the EchoFlower clan collided with the troupe, Pierrium was among the dragons that welcomed them with open arms and tangled limbs. He was actually the only dragon who got all tangled up over the clan, particularly the snapper Curium. It was love at first sight for the wildly flexible spiral although Curium took some convincing to see his points. When the two finally went on their first date the fates were sealed. Curium instantly fell for Pierrium's ridiculously contortionist body and his ability to retrieve the goggles he knocked from her head while trying to show her something interesting in the trees. The goggles having been knocked so deep into a crevice that Curium had initially given them up for gone. There are very few dragons who outright dislike Pierrium, though there are dragons that find him hard to deal with on a constant basis. He tends to get along with nearly anyone who will put up with his antics, and he frequently outstays his welcome in any situation. However, his well-meaning attitude and his incredibly happy demeanor at all times endears him to the more active members of the clan. Just don't expect to see the imperials or the ridgebacks giving him that long of a welcome in the first place. It gets a bit annoying when there's a tiny wiggly noodle threading through your claws or horns. Cassian is Pierrium's assistant, known more for his beauty than his actual assistance. Sometimes, Cassian simply leaves Pierrium in the box after his show and waits for someone to notice. Usually Curium is the first to catch on and demand her mate be released from his boxy prison. Exactly why Pierrium can get into the locked box but not out of it has never, and will never, be explained. |
