Scavenging... well, it's nothing the clan is too proud of to say the least. But as the Cairnstone Rest promised some very interesting and precious relicts some dragons just couldn't be stopped. Of course the adventures awaiting them there weren't necessarily the safest ones but Citrine and Carnelian go there on their own risk. Whenever they return with something espescially wonderful and valuable they keep some of it for themselves - at least for some time before they store it into the clan's vault. Of course they don't only scavenge in the Cairnstone Rest - that would be too boring, wouldn't it? That's why both of them sometimes leave for a few days or weeks to scavenge through foreign clans - including beastclans - or simply to wander around in hopes of finding something very valuable. The clan until now does not know if the eggs they found were actually abandoned or robbed, but who are they to judge? At least they get the clan some important materials - be it to help Paracelsus brew stuff or to change something with Swipp the old imposter.

As a Scavenger Citrine is naturally a bit meaner than other dragons in the clan - but mostly in a playful and mischievous way not meant to hurt anyone. Still, he doesn't hand out compliments quite often but if he does it comes from the bottom of his heart. He spends most of his time either with Carnelian or his precious belongings - sometimes he just likes to sleep in the clan's vault as well, as all the treasure and some of the scavenged stuff is located there. Other than that he is mostly a really calm and relaxed dragon and doesn't care about anything that would stress other dragons out. In his opinion, politics are only a necessary evil and the only good thing about it are the scavenging possibilities it brings for him. After all, who wouldn't rob a clan that has betrayed his home clan? But even though he's got these very strange opinions of his, he is one of the most loyal clan members - he would never leave the lair for good or betray it and he has made that clear after some serious talks with Ladon. But some dragons are still not too sure about it and call him a traitor behind his back - but really, he doesn't care about it. They're all tamed as soon as he brings home something good. And until that, he knows how to shout them up with some good old sass if it's necessary. As long as nobody touches him or his pearl, everything is alright though - he will not be resentful of anything besides that. His pearl is his most precious thing, he will not leave it alone somewhere ever. Not even Carnelian is allowed to touch it, even though she is the one who's got the most privileges while staying with him. |
