For a long time, Naiyus kept to herself. Clanmates would often forget she was even there. She got her tasks done and then kept to herself. This wasn't by choice, she just had no good reason to reach out and talk to anybody and felt out of place for the most part. It wasn't until Jynn came to the lair that she started to come out of her shell. Jynn's inability to fly had Naiyus approaching her with alternatives. She taught the ragged skydancer to hover using the drafts from the waves to carry her, and likewise learned some swimming tips.
The daily lessons would sometimes attract a crowd, where she'd encourage others to join in, teaching them how to signal each other and fly or swim in formation. Her patience and ability to capture everyone's attention, as well as organize a large number of dragons caught the attention of the clan leader. Rohkii sat in on one of her lessons and discovered a new use and new position. Charakka is known for many things, but their flying skills are not exactly boast-worthy. At that time, Charakka was only capable of sending a few dragons out at a time, not nearly organized enough to do more. End result, Rohkii appointed Naiyus as Flight Organizer. She's in charge of preparing for travel, and for making sure everyone is able to take off from the water's surface. She's in charge once everyone is outside the lair.

Before Naiyus made a name for herself as Flight Organizer, she wasn't exactly popular. She didn't talk to many others and her existence slipped through the hubbub of Charakka's drama. This didn't mean she was lonely, however. Since her first days in the clan, she was assigned a familiar, a Blue Tang Hippogriff. These two clicked instantly and have been close companions since the beginning. Even now, as Naiyus leads a sizeable group of dragons from place to place, her familiar Chai can be seen flying around her. Often times he'll scout ahead to test winds and weather to report whether or not the flight is favorable.
