Much to her surprise, among those discarded carcasses were several entirely new variants of the species that exist only here, warped by the magical output of the Spire.
-The experience ended up slightly warming her to scientific community. The warm glow of furthering scientific discovery faded somewhat as she realized that the increase in traffic that her shop saw from the hubbub were largely other researchers who wished to ply her for leads on more irradiated seafood. Crazy much? Still, even the greatest pillars of science need someone to pick up groceries for dinner.
