Verdance
Alliance: Avrix's Clan; Wanderer
Position: Clanborn Son

A true son of the Arcanist, Verdance loves to learn. He asks "Why?" regarding almost everything he encounters, and maintains a hatchling-like energy and attitude. His father Avrix often wonders if he'll ever now the truly solitary ways of mirror dragons... or if he should.

His favorite actives include following his father around, being doted on by his mother, and going out exploring. On such expeditions, he'll sometimes disappear without warning. This is usually because he's found something worth investigating or a dragon worth studying, and he'll usually return within a month or so. Avrix doesn't worry about this habit; Kaasama, conversely, is always fretting over her eldest son.

On one such expedition, Verdance stayed away for nearly half a year, learning to fight with a water-allied clan. When he returned, he bore scales along his legs, back, and muzzle. The Serrated Siblings didn't want to allow him back into the clan's territory, and attacked him when he approached. Verdance was able to hold out against them long enough for Avrix to step in and stop the fight, a testament to the skill he had obtained while away.

Despite Avrix's order that his son can come and go as he pleases, the Serrated Siblings always give him a hard time when they see him. Verdance doesn't mind too terribly, and sees their challenges as entertainment as much as anything.
