She was not from around here...
Perhaps it might seem a bit odd, a tundra who looks to be a noble from the Sunbeam Ruins is now an influential leader amongst a group of tundra refugees from the most forgotten corners of Dragonhome. But life has led Heulyn into all sorts of unexpected places. Her trek from her homeland involved a passage through the region of the Earthshaker's children and there she had encountered that troop of tundras. She could not help but feel they were sorely needing some sort of organization and leadership. At first, the troop rejected her help, they had their way of doing things and being an Earth tribe, valued tradition heavily. Now, however, they humor her lead. They are not dependent on her but after their long journey to Arcane, value her companionship (and fighting abilities) even if she doesn't talk or act like they do. Plus, having someone who is somewhat of an "outsider" serve as a leader proved to be a comparatively politically neutral decision to the clan.

Some of them still remain suspicious of Heulyn, despite their respect for her, as there's something not quite tundra within her, as if her real form is something else. They fear this might explain some of her prowess.
