Milap was born and raised in Plague lands. Her parents tried to instruct her in the proper ways of being a wildclaw, but dueling and bloodshed were at odds with her shy and retiring personality. She eventually rejected wildclaw society, and moved far away to the Southern Icefields. Here she planned to start a family of her own. But the endeavor was ill-fated; she lost her clutch. Shattered, she left her new home and began to wander aimlessly. Eventually she ended up at the doorstep of a clan friendly enough to take her in.

She refuses to tell anyone what exactly happened to her children, but it seems to have changed her mind on the necessity of honing her combat skills. She still rejects physical fighting, though, preferring to study magic instead.

Eventually she began traveling again, this time as a healer for those battling beast clan. It was durning these travels that she met Ky, who was also helping at the beast clan front lines. The Spirals silence and skill impresed then Milap. Eventually she asked to join Ky's clan.

When she arrived the atmosphere of the clan reminded her of how she felt when she lost her first clutch. It was then when she vowed to help pull this small clan out of their fog and cold. It was then she changed her name to Althea

She started Ky training new recrutes for the front lines, and perminate service. New faces and the way to help get money flowing again and helped a little. She is determined to help these dragons, and that she will.
