Layla

Layla is a foreigner who hails from a culture consisting of beauty-focused dragons. He is a skilled beautician, having extensive knowledge of natural ingredients and their impact on the dragon’s scales. As a stranger down the path, you may mistake Layla as female, and it’s only upon further inspection does one realize that he is, in fact, just a very pretty man. Not that his personality is very masculine. He insists that beauty is not a gendered concept and that both male and female alike can partake in “that sort of happiness”. His happy-go-lucky nature and inherent desire to help others tends to make him friends with all but the most xenophobic of dragons, and although he stands on his own as quite an individual, it doesn’t take much for him to mesh and have a place within a circle of friends. He is, however, a tad judgemental, and vanity happens to be one of his weaknesses. You might overhear him describing a guardian down the street as “that clawtip disaster” or “the scale polish abuser” but ultimately his heart is in the right place.
