Mirage is far from draconian in origin. She was conjured from a frothing pool of viscera, same as her sisters, by Sight and Sound. Shapeshifters like Mirage lack a stable physical form by default and thus have to take on one from their surroundings. in this case, the shapeshifters have taken after their creators.

Mirage was not eased into existence. She was blood, she was still-beating hearts torn from little creature's chests, she was spitting cracking hissing chaos magic. She was not things with sentience, then suddenly she was. She decides this is okay. Mirage claws feebly at the heavy tissue enveloping her. First with feline claws, then trampling hooves, then grasping hands- all changing before she can get a good feel for surroundings. But like every other creature being born, she sees light for the first time. A pale paw reaches into Mirage's little world and pulls her into a much larger one. Red eyes open for the first time; you can almost taste blood just by looking into them. The dragon beams proudly at Mirage cradled in both of his red-stained paws. Mirage feels her form solidifying. She decides this is good.
