When he was just a hatchling, Gwennan knew he was different. While his brothers and sisters wanted to explore, go on adventures, or go flying, he much preferred to stay at home and pour over books and various theories and charts. When his wanderlust finally did come to him, it was only because he was bored in his current clan.

He never expected to settle with another wind clan. This one seems different, however, and he's made a home for himself here. Dawnthorn values his intelligence and is curious about his experiments, granting him whatever budget and supplies he needs to complete his research. He's even made friends here--Hira loves to discuss magical and alchemical theories with him.

Some of the others are concerned about him. Gwennan is aloofish at best, and looks down on those who don't understand or aren't interested in his research. Between the secrets he insists on keeping, there are several dragons within the clan who are only waiting for him to slip enough before they formally take action against him. For now, though, he is content with his little home within this young and growing clan. He decorates it with gems and jewels to show off the successes of his experiments--and to keep his naysayers at bay.
