Death and all its associated aspects had never bothered her. Carmilla tends to fallen clan members as a mother might her child, gently and without judgment. Her chambers always smell of roses and myrrh as she looms over the diseased, painting them with pressed powders and pigments so that they might look as though they are still amongst the living. She weaves flora from the Wood into their manes, bathes and dresses them before ultimately burying them in the ground -- a final offering to the Wood.
