Eydís is a proud warrior dragoness. She was born into nobility in the Southern Icefields, but her house was devastated by an early United Beastclan attack. Wounded in the battle, Eydís was held prisoner by the beastclans for several years, during which time she was treated very poorly and accrued many lasting injuries, including many missing or damaged fingers and toes from frostbite. After her escape from the beastclans, she sought refuge with Saiph and his company, who had been on good terms with her lost homeland.

Eydís took it upon herself to become stronger, so that similar disasters couldn’t be repeated while she yet lived. Despite the hardships of her recent past, Eydís doesn’t struggle to find comfort and even joy in her new clan, and accepts them as the best family she has. She makes sure to personally welcome newcomers to Horizon, paying no heed to their previous lives or situations, because nothing is more important than what you choose to do now.

Though she does not hate the beastclans, and in fact has tremendous respect for their strength and coordination under Talona, Eydís believes that if dragonkind is to maintain its current style of existence, there can be no agreement or peace between dragons and beastkind. She takes no joy in this, but serves in Saiph's military company nonetheless.
