Freude

Freude was always an optimistic and a more cheerful sort of dragon, willing to try and befriend her charge, Neril, despite the mirror dragon's aggressive behavior towards her, even when she was the one responsible for the scar on Freude's face. She was a coliseum fighter and fairly strong, but otherwise she wasn't much of a fighter.

Then the Shade attacked during the Bounty of the Elements.

Though the children of hers that remained part of the clan were not among the casualties, they all ended up either leaving the clan or exalting themselves to the Shadowbinder. Freude's family had left.

She was not alone, however- Neril's aggression towards her had all but faded, and so Freude and her charge could finally form a genuine bond. Neril has helped provide Freude with comfort with the absence of her family, and even taught her some tactics to use in the coliseum, while Freude finally has been able to see Neril's softer sides, able to get closer to her in a way the rest of the clan never has.

...And when Neril has her own hatchlings, Freude will certainly help her raise them.
