Nyx

-The Night-


When Nyx first began to hatch out of her egg, the shell cracked and darkness bled out. Even at that age, everywhere she went, it seemed that darkness followed her, filling the spaces she occupied. Whether the darkness was part of her or she was part of it, no one could tell. The young demigodess manifested her powers at an early age. She could make the day seem like the dead of night within hours of being hatched.

Nyx has never spoken a word, and was rarely seen in the lair after she hatched. Her parents saw no need to interfere, or even take interest in her at all-they had their work to accomplish and she had her own purpose to fulfill. Because of the cloud of darkness that followed her wherever she went, most other dragons avoided her. She seemed to prefer it that way. No one really knew why she chose to leave the clan, she simply began to return to it less and less until one day she was gone.
