Tykka is the clan's storyteller, and what a storyteller she is. The smallest stone has its own story, there is a story to explain the movement of the sun across the sky, and another for the origin of dragons' wings. What was the world like when the behemoth was but an acorn? Why does the spider spin a web? What happened to the banana that Takumi left on the log by the creek last Saturday? Tykka has a story for everything. Give her an old shoe, and Tykka will come up with a story for it. Dragons stay up all night listening to Tykka's tales. When the sun rises and they all finally go to bed, once upon a times dance through their dreams.
In the pulsing green depths of the Viridian Labyrinth there lived a clan of dragons
