Orime is a fearsome dragon on the battle field; forging a path of glory by taking no prisoners, and leaving no survivors. But, before this image of a blood-thirsty, ruthless brute fills your mind, let's take a few steps back and see him as he really is.

Orime(pronounced oar-ee-may) is a rather arrogant dragon, but usually means well. When his first hatchlings came, he proclaimed that he was the happiest dragon on earth, and shouted "my family is better than yours," at complete strangers. At the same time, he can get a little too prideful; this usually puts him and his guard at risk. Once, he almost cost his guard's lives because he thought that they could fight with only 5 potions on them. Luckily, they all made it back alive without any fatal wounding. He can get pretty hot-headed at times, too, and if it weren't for his mate, Paru, his head would've inflated so big that he would've floated off into the cosmos! Speaking of loved ones...

If you put his massive ego and anger aside, then you will find a sappy, friendly dragon with a heart of gold. He does genuinely care for his family and friends, and would be absolutely devastated if any harm were to come their way because of him. His closest friends are Oswald and Shinrin, and the 3 of them formed the original clan guard. They were unstoppable.. until one day, Something horrible happened to Oswald while they were all out on a mission. Orime still blames himself for Oswald's injuries, and believes that he is the reason that he was forced into early retirement.

In the end, Orime is just an overly proud dad, a reliable friend, and ,of course, a ferocious fighter till the end.
