This bio is a severe WIP
The shimmer of bright jewels and pretty bobbles hung low as you make your way through the small cave, a hiss erupts from the darkness as your head brushes one hanging gem, causing it to clink into another. Your attention goes to the brightly colored dragon who stares down at you with an unmistakable irritation. "You better have reason for disturbing my collection" his voice is higher then you expected, though his look doesn't make it any less intimidating "all of this is worth far more then you will ever be" the snide insult reaches your ears, you're not sure if the emotion your feeling is more confusion rather then offence as you look onto this gaudy dragon.

Past Chataruse was born into a nest that had expected much from the clutch of young dragons that were his brothers and sisters. The father of the nest especially pushing his newly hatched children to uphold the beauty that the entire family held. These early lessons continue to affect Chataruse to this day, as his appearance is always of up most importance. He wasn't allowed much as a child, not allowed to play for very long, no trinkets to play with between he and his siblings which as he grew affected his development leaving Chataruse a very weak fighter. Once old enough he was forced to leave his nest do to his fathers bartering, leaving him face to face with the mighty Eriso, who had expected she was getting another fighter to add to her ranks. As it turned out Chataruse was no more then a living ornaments. |
Present Chataruse is no more then a mere gatherer of food to keep the Grove fully stocked. His strong legs make his gathering runs quick and his eye for detail always make the stock he finds quality, wither it be from bugs to berries. He often stops to find unique items during his gathering, adding to his already massive personal hoard within the grove. Chataruse despises the other dragons in his clan getting too close to his hoard, often hissing or flapping his wings and making a dramatic display. Some Dragons in the Grove are amused by this and often tease the flashy dragon on his overly protective ways. Chataruse acts high and mighty to most who speak with him, waving them off as 'unworthy' to talk to him, he even attempted to turn up his nose at Eriso who had quickly put an end to that. Now Chataruse avoids their leader at all costs, ducking his head when she passes more so out of fear then respect. Despite his high and mighty attitude, the aqua colored Dragon does have a playful side, chasing whisps around in the murky woods or playing with the small fauna. Though he keeps this side of him carefully guarded. |
