Deep underground is where you usually would find Lonaire. She spends little time in the above ground lair as she can spend weeks living the snapper's nomadic life in dark caverns looking for valuable mineral, and only returns to resupply or for special occasions. While her brother Exilus stays in the lair working as a kind of mechanical janitor, she keeps contact with him and the lair through their strange pet crystals. They discovered the trapped elements within these orbs are connected and can transmit messages directly between eachother without any apparent consequnce, except that Lonaire would still have to hear the constant questions from her over protective brother. Lonaire is not a very good merchant herself, but she loves her work in helping Rangi and Nubbin supplies to trade away for other things the clan might need. She's held company by a small glowing sprite which would also help her with things like retrieving items from her bags or scouting around in the dark when she can't do it herself. She has yet to come up with a good name for it. She has a necklace of a small piece of jade which she considers her lucky charm. It's the only piece of jade she has ever managed to find in the lightning realm (unless she unknowingly crossed some underground border into another region). She loves the pricking stings of electric stinger jellyfish for dinner. |
