Seafoam carefully examined the unfortunate scar Valokas had been given during a battle, making sure it was fully healed. Attica watched from a distance, flipping a sparrow skull between her claws impatiently. Seafoam flinched at every "clack clack clack" of claw on bone.
"Could you please stop that?" Seafoam snapped impatiently. "I just want to finish this examination."
"Or you could just have confidence in my abilities and trust that I did a good job."
Seafoam has never believed in the art of voodoo or magic based healing. She even had the audacity to criticize Orome when he was able to fight off the Jasper virus. Not just for himself but for Nimbus. The same virus that killed off dozens of dragons that they held so dear. Attica would have loved to work with Orome, but being that some still aren't comfortable having a diseased doctor, he stays quarantined at the back of the lair with his mate.
"Listen, it's not that I don't trust you. Your methods are just a little... outdated." Seafoam gave Valokas a clean bill of health along with a reassurance that her scar would remain nothing but a scar now. She nodded to Attica before flying off.
"Outdated or not I saved her eye. Without me she would be half blind."
"I understand that but just look at your practices. You're covered in blood, birds, and unnecessary bows, you keep a beast of a familiar at your side, and for Icewardens sake you don't even wear gloves!"
"Would it make you feel better if I wore gloves?"
"A little.. but it doesn't matter how I feel, what matters are your patients."
"You don't see Orome wearing gloves and he still gets a good amount of business."
"But he's not even supposed to be getting business right now! Not until the virus has been thoroughly examined and cleared as non contagious."
"He doesn't wear gloves though."
"He's a mage he doesn't need them. Most of what he does is hands off work. He barely touches the patients. Shouldn't you know this? You're the one who insists on hanging out with him despite all the warnings." Attica snickered at her frustration.
"So does this mean if you end up sick you're coming to me?"
Seafoam groaned angrily and started walking away.
"Orome it is then?" Attica called from the distance, the smile plastered on her face under her mask clearly audible in her voice.



Small prompt for potential lore (someday)
Seafoam is more about technology and moving forward where as Attica likes using voodoo magic type stuff. Both are experts at curing all types of ailments. If they could just get over their differences in healing they could be really good friends. Not to mention, an amazing team as well. For now they tend to stay on opposite sides of the lair if possible.
