Biography
Those lucky enough to find the Skull Reef Clan will find themselves interacting with some rather intimidating dragons, yet none even hold a candle to the clan’s current leader.

Oceanrun is rarely seen on the surface, choosing not to partake in the clan’s raids. Instead his place is guarding the reef, keeping its non bandit inhabitants safe. Those who do see him for the first time tend to have trouble finding their words. With his unrivaled size and almost monstrous appearance, Oceanrun is a truly imposing dragon, even for a Guardian.

Despite this, Oceanrun is mostly a very calm and patient dragon who rarely loses his cool. He is easy to talk to, and is skilled when it comes to mediating arguments. He cares greatly for those in the clan dragon or otherwise, and tries to ensure their safety and comfort with each decision. He is the one who mandates that the clan not harm innocent dragons, and allow civilian ships safe passage across the sea.

Such benevolence often comes across as soft to others, but make no mistake, his gentleness is not weakness.

Hidden like a beast hides in the depths of a swamp is great power and dangerous rage. He has no tolerance for those who threaten the clan’s safety and security, or exploit its kindness. To him, such actions are a direct attack upon his charge, and that is something he will show no mercy to, especially not to an outsider.

Born within the treacherous waters of Rotwater Reef, then adopted by the sea witch Hellebore, Oceanrun is well versed in both water magic and survival. When he grew older, he began to seek out his charge, believing it to be within Skull Reef.

It was then when he discovered the Coral Catacombs, and sensed its ancient and dangerous nature.

Though still unsure of what exactly his charge was exactly, he began to protect the catacombs diligently. Pretty soon, that protection extended to the reef itself. Eventually, more and more dragons sought shelter in the reef, under Oceanrun’s protection. The more he interacted with these dragons, the closer they all grew, and the Skull Reef Clan was formed.

And Oceanrun realized that he had found his charge after all.

Oceanrun has a Glowing Pocket Mouse named Charm. He is smart but skittish, fearing any unknown or new dragons and creatures. Charm is often hiding somewhere near Oceanrun, but the latter always keeps track of the former's location just to be safe. He enjoys Seaberries, Oceanrun always tries to keep some on him for the mouse.
