Andromeda

-The Stargazer-


The first thing Andromeda saw when she opened her eyes for the very first time was a sky full of stars, and at first she couldn't bring herself to look away. Maybe a little bit of starlight escaped into her soul then, because after that her thoughts and desires were always directed up into the great abyss of the universe. When she was young, her favorite thing was being taken outside by her parents on nights when the sky was clear and having them point out to her the different constellations in the sky.

She has a scientific way of looking at things-curious, rational, and always wanting to find the right answer. She learned to map out the night sky in charts that were both beautiful and accurate, discovering patterns in the ever-changing sea of stars above. Her greatest ambition is to some day make it up into the sky among the stars. She always was a bit of a dreamer. One day as a young hatchling, she was sitting on a tall boulder so as to be as close to the stars as possible, when she realized that her dreams wouldn't come to her on their own. If she wanted to make it to the stars some day, she would have to take her life into her own hands and make it happen. So, in the dead of night, she silently packed the few belongings she had and slipped away from her clan's lair, never to return-she was ready to follow her dreams.
