The Matriarch

Not many can say they have been fighting strange creatures and magical anomalies as a hatchling. To Talyn, it was just one of the many things the locals of the Starfall Isles had to deal with. Between living in the heavily radiated islands to training in the harsh storm desert, she has traveled with her old clan of mercenaries to all reaches of Sornieth that has given the seasoned vanguard a rough exterior and intimidating aura. Yet despite all this traveling, she never set out nor cared to find her Charge. It wasn't long until the elder Guardians of her clan banished her for her disregard towards her kind's way of life.

Joining a band of mercenaries, all seemed well until a skirmish with the beastclans attracted one of the roaming anomalies. For a brief moment, both sides banded together to defeat the creature but the toll taken on dragon and beast clans left few survivors. She felt her vision darken, her senses grow colder as a grove of mushrooms began to move. Talyn awoke to find herself in a small cavern littered with dried herbs and the grove of mushrooms to be a Guardian conversing with Centaur before her final moments. The dragoness felt a rush rise in her, the feeling of her gut calling to protect the herbalist. While he wasn't too keen on the bolder dragon at first, the pair ultimately grew closer and began taking in other dragons, forming the small but close-knit clan called Benzene.
