Pertardus

Pertardus was generated of sea foam and a mass of seaweed that combined with ectoplasm and irradiation. His first memories are of warmth and floating, darkness and light. In the beginning, there was no up, down, port or starboard... There was no sensation of time.

Things solidified with the tender probings of delicate paws. They were red. Each place she touched felt whole and aware, his senses began to electrify, yet still he was inert. It was as he began moving through the water being - tugged? Towed? That he felt a reflexive response. The movements were small at first, and it was hard to say if it was his own volition or a fluttering with the waves. But wings began to shift into alignment, ah, that felt better. Legs moved foward... Then back. Slowly, he began increasing effort and speed until he added strength and energy to the direction they headed.

His electrified senses mounted with excitement and urgency. This felt right. He wanted something... Not just to follow, but pursuit. His eyes focused on the delicate red creature tugging him and he surged forward with a roar of anticipation.
