Hypoxia

This dragon just dragged itself into the clan territory one day, moaning and keening. Some dragons took it to be an ill omen, and ignored them, but the compassionate healers of the clan immediately went to work. The dragon was dehydrated, and their skin was raw from where they dragged themselves across the rocky ground. Within a few days, they were in great shape. But they seem reluctant to leave.

But they're an odd one. When they move their long body, it sounds like wind blowing through dry leaves. When they extend their wings, it sounds like the creaking and snapping of a dead tree falling. When they speak, their voice has an emphasis of crackling embers at the end of a dying fire.

They speak infrequently, to thank others for their kindness or to respond with few words to questions. It is because they dislike the sound of their voice, and other dragons worry their speaking brings bad luck. In fact, since the dragon came to the clan, minor bad luck seems to be more frequent. Comets collide with mountains where the dens of the clan are, and beastclan are pushing against the boundaries. Of course these things are out of the dragon's control, and they had nothing to do with it. It's just that their appearance and mannerisms set a few on edge.

Spectre, another enigmatic, ominous clan member, seems to spend the most time with them. It could be because Spectre is equally mysterious in the eyes of the clan, and may empathize and connect.
