His father, Temporalis, was born with the unique ability to see through the timelines of dragons around him. These visions came in the form of an omniscient third party, allowing him to gather a sense for the feelings of all dragons present, not just the thoughts of his subject. Although he cannot see into the future, his ability to see a dragon's past and understand all beings present in it helped him to solve the problems of his clanmates and resolve disputes between other dragons. His mother, Argente, was a powerful Mage who was completely mute and used writing to communicate. She was the one who gifted him his familiar, a Silver Kitsune. Rivielos was named not only for his father, but, in a similar case to Tatsuya, also for a dragon from the previous generation of the clan that was known as a master swordsdragon and tactician. Rivielos, however, prefers long ranged combat and excels at it thanks to the powerful magic he inherited from his mother. He is a brilliant dragon who can think quick on his feet, being able to come up with complex strategies and tactics on the spot. Alongside his name, Rivielos also gained a good portion of his father's ability to see the timelines of his fellow dragons. Although, his gift isn't as potent as his father's, Rivielos is just as patient and kind as his father, but most of the time other dragons are unable to see this side of him since it's masked by a fairly cold demeanor. He trains to strengthen his gift using basic methods of divination and meditation. While his father enjoyed sunning himself on the beach, casting beautiful fractals from his crystalline skin, and his mother enjoyed luminescent caves, Rivielos enjoys the snow, especially if it's fresh powder or if it's a gentle snowfall. |
