 B I O G R A P H Y
Primarily, Titan has taken it upon himself to care for the hatchlings of the Clans. All of the young are under his domain, and he ensures they grow up in the best environment. When they are of age to begin their training, Titan chooses the most fitting mentor for them. In his spare time, Titan also cares for all of the familiars in the Clan. He enjoys gathering as many different species as he can and invites them to live in Driftwood Drag. Titan is also becoming skilled at alchemy, although when he begins his spells it is best to give him space. It is not uncommon to see large puffs of smoke emerge from his den, often followed by the Tundra stumbling out, looking dazed and covered in a thin lair of ash. Titan grew up in the Viridian Labyrinth and has only moved to the Tangled Wood recently with his Clan. He is enjoying it in this new home, eager to explore and discover the native fauna and flora. Oftentimes he can be seen with a notebook to jot down any new discoveries he has made. Although his old age has earned him the nickname “Old Grump”, he simply laughs it off. It is true that he can be grumpy, especially when he gets hungry or if the hatchlings he cares for won’t stop tussling - Just nap already, you whippersnappers! Humble beginnings Originally hailing from the Viridian Labrinth and coming to settle in the Tangled Wood, Clan Starcacher has an interesting history. The Clan's Matriarch, Titan Oakheart was born in the Viridian Labyrinth along with a very few colleagues, none of which are in his current clan. Given, he had a rough start, with his first clan suffering poverty, drought, illness and starvation. That came with his first three hatchlings exalted to serve a deity that was not his. In a search for the cure to the mysterious illness that had plagued his clan, he found a mother tundra who had fallen ill with the same sickness who resided in the Tangled Wood. He spoke with her for many days and used the medicine knowledge he had accumulated in his time in the Labyrinth, he tried as best he could to heal her. As time passed, she assumed the illness would end her. She begged Titan to take her weakest son, Berry and raise him. After much discussion, he agreed. Upon seeing Berry, he knew the boy belonged in the Tangled Wood. Being that his children and former mate had been exalted, Titan stayed in the Wood and started a Clan with just Berry.The two grew close as Berry grew and Titan came to love him as a son. He continued to nurse his mother back to health but upon seeing the bond the two had formed, Rosa agreed to let Titan keep her hatchlng, as he was clearly meant to raise him. Titan smiled and with a parting kiss on the cheek to Rosa, they left to start a new clan in the Tangled Wood.
Basil
Titan’s Nature Sprite also has a name and personality! Her name is Basil and her and Titan have an...interesting relationship. She has a lot of attitude which can sometimes come into conflict with Titan’s calm and mellow personality. Her signature move is to flick and all the dragon’s hate it. This can lead to a little discourse in the clan but it’s temporary and quickly put down by Titan. She speaks in a squeaky voice similar to gibberish and only the old leader can understand this pattern of speech. It does make for odd encounters with both of them. She balances him out well though and she is a close friend to him, him having found her when she was injured and nursed her back to health,
