Hulrune

Hulrune is the male Alpha of the clan, respected as the head and primary protector and warrior, though he tips his hat to his fellow warriors, who train fiercely with him, while also thankful and appreciative of the more nurturing of the clan. Not taking for granted that they're the glue that holds the clan together, keeping them equally safe and ensuring they're loved. When he first settled down amongst the den and nest of the Shadow lands, he chose to take his future clan and all dragons under his wing as his charges, no matter the diversity and come what may. Likewise, though he is a rather traditional Guardian, and his Fae mate, making quite the orthodox pair despite their flights, in origin and chosen residence as of right now, they'd never turn their noses up or shun those seeking shelter, as alternative as they may seem. Though if danger could be posed, he would personally put himself in a protecting role until peace could be assured. His daughter in law, Domenico of the Plague, is a mighty example of his kindness and patience, and her love for her Ascended mate and his son, Darklei.
Of course, he and his mate's love for eachother is legendary, if their lineage of children and descendants, let alone the entire clan's health and care, has anything to say for it! Even though she was initially wary of Domenico herself, being the gentle natured, nurturing mother type she was, she easily welcomed and quickly warmed up to her daughter in law almost as soon as her mate and son had, and wholeheartedly accepted to give their blessing to the happy couple! She hopes some day, Domenico will find another true love as with her son, and she and Hulrune have, and have many little ones to continue to make them all proud. Reftah, their granddaughter, remains with the clan aswell, having offspring of her own!



His heart swelled when a beautiful Fae happened to, much like himself, find the same den and her eyes lit up with his vows, happy to stay with him and help make it happen, effectively becoming her first charge of his humbly ambitious goal and lifelong mate. Together they've had many children and from time to time bring little tykes into the world, always happy and loved amongst their family even with two parents nearly from different worlds, all looking to them with bright eyes. Over time they moved their nest to the Wind lands and found they liked it there, choosing to continue their journey in there new home as they left room for another family of dragons as their numbers grew, leaving behind gifts and a cozy little new home for a future clan to call their own some day.
Having children even into new territory, their hatchlings were always raised by the clan and parents side by side with their clanmates' own young, some staying but many moving on, all to their higher purpose, finding their calling much like their parents and making them proud no matter their path. He keeps track of the males and hence is in command of the male warrior roles. He's also in charge of the guard and teaching newcomer males how to protect the nests and the lair. Though the numbers have grown large and mighty, he never complained, adopting a fatherly, grandfatherly, and even ancestral role with pride and strength as he helped all whom ended here, all newcomers (even the fiery ones) awed by such a gentle and humble, yet fierce and strong protective soul he is to them, his honesty, his courage, and his honor and his acceptance. To have his original un-gened features he has inspired many, and given hope to those whom were lost and felt they had no way, no where to go, and now finally had a home.
