Florenzia, Flora for short, was born within the Fortress of Ends. Long ago the Icewarden decided her parents deserving of punishment and imprisoned them. They were locked in an icy hell for decades before meeting. When they came together they had Flora and her sister in secret, vowing to see their children to freedom.

The Icewarden found them however and punished them severely for what they'd done and Flora was separated from her family. She wandered the Fortress of Ends seemingly for an age before finally finding an opening in the impregnable fortress. Perhaps the Icewarden had taken pity on her, perhaps she'd found a crack in the armor, all she knew for certain was that she was free.


She wandered for weeks alone and scared before stumbling into a sleeping Guardian. Terrified of the elder's armor and sharp teeth she tried to run, but the much larger dragon easily caught her. Eona wasn't much for chitchat and let the little dragon prattle on and on about her family and the icewarden. She knew life as a mercenary wasn't right for a hatchling, but if the little one was to survive she'd need to be taught some basic hunting and survival skills.

Sighing internally she cut off the young dragon mid sentence and offered to take her under her wing. After a moment she added that her name was Eona. Florenzia the little dragon answered happily back. But everyone calls me Flora.
